Mouson Arts &amp; Music Festivals 2012. So die offizielle Langform.<br>Was die Macher hier und heute zusammengetragen haben, kann sich sehen und h\u00f6ren lassen: die besten deutschen Bands (<strong>Get well soon<\/strong>, <strong>The Notwist<\/strong>), die Band mit dem wichtigsten &#8222;deutschsprachigem&#8220; Album des letzten Jahres (Ja, Panik), meine neueste Lieblingsband (<strong>The whitest boy alive<\/strong>), meine allerneueste Lieblingband (<strong>Breton<\/strong>) und die neuen <strong>Phoenix<\/strong> (<strong>Air Bag One<\/strong>). Mehr Programm liesse sich in einen Abend nicht packen, Zeit zum verschnaufen und \/ oder um sich all die andere Kunst auf dem Gel\u00e4nde der Jahrhunderthalle anzuschauen, blieb kaum.<br>Mir fehlen die Worte. Aber was soll ich auch schreiben? <strong>Get well soon<\/strong> und <strong>The Notwist<\/strong> sind hinl\u00e4nglich bekannt und jedes ihrere Konzerte eine Ohr- und Augenweide; <strong>Breton<\/strong> und <strong>Air Bag One<\/strong> hatte ich auch schon vorgestellt. Bleiben nur <strong>Ja, Panik<\/strong> und die <strong>Shins<\/strong>.<br>Zu <strong>Ja, Panik<\/strong> fallen mir spontan zwei S\u00e4tze ein: Es war ein langerwartetes Konzert, dessen Ank\u00fcndigung letztendlich den Ausschlag gab, nach Frankfurt zu fahren. Und es war grossartig.<br>\u00dcber die <strong>Shins<\/strong> schrieb ich im April 2004, nachdem ich sie als Hauptband nach <strong>Preston School of Industries<\/strong> im Geb\u00e4ude 9 gesehen hatte, folgendes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8222;The Shins&#8220; \u00fcberraschten mich durchaus im positiven Sinn. Ihr Musikstil ist nicht wirklich einordbar, mit keiner anderen dezeitigen Band vergleichbar. Am Abend fielen mir spontan die Beach Boys und Lemonheads ein, die man als st\u00e4rkere Vorbilder eindeutig heraush\u00f6rt. Mmmhhh, welche Band bezieht sich eigentlich nicht auf die Erstgenannte der beiden Genannten? Na egal, ob es zu einem CD Kauf reicht, vermag ich im Moment noch nicht entg\u00fcltig zu sagen. Ich bleib aber dran, an &#8222;The Shins&#8220;.<br>Zusatz: Ich glaube nicht, dass &#8222;The Shins&#8220; so richtig gross werden. Ihnen, und wohl leider auch PSoI wird das gleiche widerfahren wie &#8222;Built to spill&#8220; oder &#8222;Guided by Voices&#8220;.
