Es war das erhoffte Gitarrenfest. Ein Quadratmeter Effekt-Pedal Installation vor den F\u00fc\u00dfchen J Mascis, daneben klebte die einen halben Meter gro\u00dfe Setlist, geschrieben in Schriftgr\u00f6\u00dfe Arial 72 fett.
\nJa, zum Gitarrespielen braucht es keine Brille.
\nIm R\u00fccken von J Mascis t\u00fcrmen sich sechs Verst\u00e4rkerboxen mannshoch auf und bilden in drei Zweierbl\u00f6cken einen engen Halbkreis. Das ist sein Refugium, der B\u00fchnenraum, den er w\u00e4hrend der n\u00e4chsten anderthalb Stunden nicht verlasen wird. Irgendwann zwischen \u201eFeel the pain\u201c und \u201eFreak scene\u201c dreht sich der Dinosaur S\u00e4nger um, und spielt mit dem Gesicht zu seinen Boxen blickend sekundenlang eines seiner herausragenden Gitarrensoli. J Mascis sieht aus wie ein kleines Kind, dass man zur Strafe in die Ecke gestellt hat.
\nRegungslos, gedankenverloren und introvertiert steht er da. Wahrscheinlich hat er ein L\u00e4cheln auf den Lippen, aber seine silbernen Haare lassen keinen Blick zu. Bestrafung sieht anders aus.
